After School Adventures

After School Adventures is an after school program for children in the neighborhood that are in grades Kinder-6^th grade. The focus of the program is on homework help, cooperative games and relationship building. Each session includes a nutritional snack for the children. Currently we have 7 children who are here regularly and we have a lot of fun. Brandon Ellis is the coordinator of the program. We have made crafts, gone bowling and swimming, we play games in the gym, play bingo and monopoly, as well as work on homework and spend quality time with the young people. The program runs Monday and Wednesday afternoons from 3:00-5:00 pm. It is free of charge.
